How to remove an old toilet seat?

How to remove the old cover plate after selecting the new cover plate?  

There are different disassembly methods for different toilet seats. Here are three common disassembly methods.  

The first: fixed plate - lock type.  Remove the lid by lifting the cover and unscrewing the screws with a screwdriver.

The second kind of closestool disassembly means: fixed plate - under lock type.  Unscrew the nut below the toilet, you can remove the toilet.

The third way of toilet seat disassembly: quick disassembly plate - lock type/lock type.  The end of the toilet seat to see if there is a button, if there is, press the button to pull out the toilet parallel to the front end, no button is directly parallel to the front end, then the leakage of quick disassembly board parts, unscrew the nut can remove the quick disassembly board.

How to install toilet seat? (take MOEXT toilet seat as an example)  

Tools: 1 Phillips screwdriver.  

Locked installation.  

Step 1: Remove the MOEXT toilet seat lid and fixing accessories and make sure the locking accessories are complete.  

(Accessories: 1 pair of expansion bolts, 1 pair of plastic support, 1 pair of screws, 1 pair of decorative cover)      

Step 2: Place the white expansion bolt, head down, into the ceramic mounting hole.

Step 3: Align the plastic support with the ceramic mounting hole.

Step 4: Load the screw, screw to 9 minutes tight, so that the support can also be slightly loose, in order to try to install the cover plate.

Step 5: The two holes of the cover plate are vertically inserted into the small column of the support, and the cover plate is adjusted around the front and rear, so that it is perfectly matched with the toilet, and then the screw is completely locked, and the fixed support can not be moved.

Step 6: Open the cover plate, press the button in front of the cover plate, vertically remove the cover plate, and then install the stainless steel decorative cover on the support.

Step 7: install the cover plate again, check whether the slow drop function of the cover plate is normal, the installation is completed.

Lock down installation

Step 1: Remove the MOEXT toilet seat lid and fixing accessories and make sure the lower lock accessories are complete.  

(Accessories: 1 pair of plastic support, 1 pair of screws, a pair of lower lock gaskets, a pair of lower lock bolts, a pair of decorative caps)

Step 2: cover the screw into the plastic support and place it on the toilet mounting hole.

Step 3: put the gasket on the plastic nut, one hand press the top of the screw, one hand from the bottom of the toilet nut to screw 9 minutes tight, so that the support can be slightly loosened, the screw is longer, to turn for a while, the right approach is the same.

Step 4: the cover two holes are vertically inserted into the bearing column, and the cover plate is adjusted around the front and back, so that it is perfectly matched with the toilet, and then lock the bolts on both sides by hand, so that the bearing no longer moves.

Step 5:Open the cover plate, press the button in front of the cover plate, remove the cover plate vertically, and tighten the screws completely with a Phillips screwdriver.

Step 6: Cover the pedestal with stainless steel decorative cover.

Step 7: Install the cover plate again and check whether the slow drop function of the cover plate is normal. The installation is complete.
